What We Did Next
When you’re told your child won’t “survive,” you don’t wait — you move.
After hearing those words, we didn’t react emotionally.
We got to work.
We researched private schools.
We looked at other brick-and-mortar charter schools.
We explored every option available to us.
Not because we were angry.
Because we were responsible.
When someone tells you your child won’t “survive,” you don’t argue — you search.
Eventually, we settled on a cyber charter school.
Not because it was easy.
Not because it was trendy.
Not because someone convinced us.
Because it was right for our child.
And almost overnight, we saw change.
Confidence returning.
Stress lifting.
Communication improving.
It wasn’t dramatic. It was steady.
But it was undeniable.
Friends noticed.
Family noticed.
Community members noticed.
When something works for your child, you don’t stay quiet about it.
You protect it.
You advocate for it.
You become fierce about it — not because you’re political, but because you’ve seen the difference.
On March 4 — the anniversary of Pennsylvania’s founding — we remember that choice is part of this Commonwealth’s DNA.
This is Part Two of our story.
If you made a change for your child and saw the difference, you understand.
